<h3>Section 9.4.2: Timing</h3> <ul> <li>Counting Days: The time within which an act is to be done is computed by excluding the first day and including the last day. If the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday observed by the County, that day is excluded. The end of a day is 5:00 P.M., local time.</li> <li>Definitions: </li> <li>The word “day” means one calendar day, unless otherwise stated in these LDRs.</li> <li>The word “week” means 7 days.</li> <li>The word “month” means a calendar month.</li> <li>The word “year” means a calendar year.</li> </ul>
