<h3>Internally Illuminated Definition</h3> <p>Internally illuminated refers to any sign or display, whether on- or off- premise, consisting of (1) translucent surfaces whose message is designed to be made visible by means of lamps or other light sources concealed within such surfaces; or (2) a sign whose content is made visible by means of luminous elements under active electronic control and therefore subject to alteration in order to vary the color, content and/or brightness of the message displayed.</p>
